As we know that India grows at its rapid pace of 8 to 9% per year and its corporate growing even at faster rates, India Inc. Is rapidly falling prey to the ill effects of the growth. Hectic growth puts large demands and pressures on employee’s lives and its resultant stress, places large challenges before that effect the physical, mental and social health of the workers.
Aims & Objectives:
1. To identify and measure stress levels amongst the company employees in relation to the company’s growth graph.
2. To study relations of behavioral and physical health impact of the stress on employees
3. To identify and introduce programs to mitigate the effects of stress on employee’s health.

Methods
A study population enrolls all the employees coming for Periodical medical examination in 2005 & 2011. Data collection was done by using pre designed and pre tested questionnaire was given to all employees coming for periodical medical check up.

Results
Our results showed a 12% increase in the work pressure levels of the employees. In order to sustain the growth along with the health of the employee, we have now introduced a stress management program growth addressing specific areas resulting in stress.

Discussion
It is imperative that all companies in the developing countries making rapid economic progress will come under increasing stress related disorders. In order to sustain the growth the companies will be required to put stress management programs into place if the growth path is to be maintained.
