Occupational Health and Intervention Diagnostic at Canine Care Centers

Introduction
Rabies and Sterilization Center is an important institution in the region, due to the control, register and management of zoonotic diseases are being done, in which the workers are susceptible to the risks and requirements that exist inside and outside the workplace.

Methods
Descriptive-observational study using the methodology by Dr. Jesus Gabriel Franco E. called Verification, Diagnostic and Surveillance of Occupational Health Model in the Companies, that has 10 chapters for a self evaluation. Besides the above, a direct interview of a third part of the workers was used.

Results
So many areas of opportunity were found, after using the data produced as reference, emphasizing on induction and training in each department, workers health and security and hygiene. 
Besides the above, there are inadequacies of the administrative department, which has an impact on a lack of papers, such as: contingency plans, security and hygiene of the workers committee, to name a few. In addition to this, there are no fire systems, signs, security warnings, nor colors for handling chemicals of infectious biological waste. 
There’s an interest from the workers as well as the directors derived from this work to apply some corrective actions. 

Discussion
It does not fulfill with the minimum requirements for the ideal operation of the facilities in spite of being part of a health regulatory agency, as well as the workers health care when working on hazardous conditions. In the same way, the regulations for handling chemicals of infectious biological waste is not followed.
