Introduction
Among the many movements of the body and in this case workers in the metalworking industry, there are activities that involve exertion to run as the lifting or moving objects, for example those working in field of construction, chargers of all kinds drivers, heavy machinery, among others. An expression of changes in the temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) is bruxomanía and / or clenching of teeth.

Methods
This study was cross by simple availability. We evaluated 60 workers of a metal-mechanical industry of the city of León, Gto. Each worker was interviewed about the most common occupationally movements and examined the TMJ. Applied descriptive statistics and chi-square contrast.

Results
The average age of workers was 25.1 years, the average time of working in that industry was 2.8 years, the sample size was 60 male workers were evaluated 12 moves frequently, the most common of these were : wrists, arms and hands 73%, secondly the back and legs and another with less presentation, 28 showed problems TMJ. In almost all movements showed alterations in the ATM with the exception of the arms and shoulders. By chi square analysis, significant relationship was found with p <0.05 between muscle movement and more frequent alterations in TMJ.

Discussion
The average age of people was very low, this condition should be considered in the workplace. One aspect not included in this study was the antecedent of other pathologies such as arthritic degeneration of the hard tissues. You should think about the solution to anticipate or limit the TMJ dysfunction, such as the use of occlusal guards, oral or positioners as sports but adapted to the workplace.
