Introduction
This study was developed to know the hazards and demands in which the workers are exposed, and set up actions for an intervention proposal that helps increase the identified problems; this economical activity is between the five most important ones in the city, where the research was carried out, representing these ones more than one thousand workers of the region legally registered to the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS).

Methods
Descriptive and observational study. The instrument used was Verification, Diagnostic and Surveillance of Occupational Health Model and the Company Identity card done by Dr. Jesus Gabriel Franco E. There was an agreement on weekly data collection as well as the participation of supervisors and mid-level managers

Results
Verification showed severe faults, six out of ten chapters of the instrument got zero level of efficiency and the percentage was below 35%. The work of the complex diagrams of the work process let us determine the existence of physical, mechanical and chemical hazards, besides physiological demands. There were in the order listed: noise exposition, vibrations, adverse thermal atmosphere; dust contact and vapors; falls, blows, hand bruises and finally, improper load management and stressful positions.

Discussion
The most exposed and predominant areas to physical risks are the noise and vibrations in the cutting, detailing and slotting area. Exposition to chemical hazards in painting and plating areas is considered as high impact on the workers health.
Unfortunately, health and security at work are not at the top level in the organization based on the used instrument. An integral proposal of intervention with designed strategies is proposed for a solution of the deficiencies.
