  • Perosh is the Partnership for European Research in Occupational Safety and Health. It was established in 2003 gathering 13 national OSH member institutes with the aim of strengthening European research in occupational safety and health. The objectives of the 13 European OSH institutes are to cooperate and coordinate their research and development efforts for healthier, longer and more productive working lives in Europe. In view of the common challenges faced by the OSH community in the EU, the Perosh network is a platform to pool resources in common research projects with the aim of avoiding duplication of work, sharing existing knowledge and acquiring new one.    In a constantly changing and global world of work, systematic monitoring of occupational safety and health priorities is essential to adequately answer to the current and emerging challenges in the working environment. To meet this challenge, Perosh has carried out foresight activities based on proactive and evidence-based research.    The presentation will look into the working environment and OSH challenges in the EU for the next decade and how this impacts on the development of prevention approaches. It will also reflect on the knowledge gaps and further needs for research and development. The main sources of this speech comes from a Perosh exercise that gather the views of the member of Perosh regarding next decade.
