Introduction
What differs essentially the civil construction from transformation industry is the non-continuity of productivity and temporary labor. Therefore, there is difficulty to implement the Program for the Prevention of Hearing Loss in these environments. Among the physical agents, the most found in these work environments is the noise. In September 2010 a speech therapist was hired to develop the study of hearing profile, educational actions, suggestions of (PPE) models, Optometry.

Methods
Audiometric management survey from October 2010 to February 2011 and interviews.

Results
From the audiometric survey from October 2010 to February 2011 3196 audiometric managements were performed, 31 cases of worsening audiometric were identified (0,96%), occupational defined gibberish. The index found was positive, if we take into account the recommendation NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, 1996), suggesting annual aggravation of less than 3%. It reflects the company's legal protection for cases of labor action. Among the 46 workers interviewed, 45 use hearing protectors plug type (97.82%) and 1 (2.18%) use the ear circum-aural type (shell). Regarding the sense of protection with hearing protection plug given by the company, 43 positive answers were gotten (93,47%), and this index is higher than the one found in the literature. Costa and Cols (2009) refer 92,3% of workers with same sensation.

Discussion
In Civil construction industry isn’t usually given due importance to the Program for Hearing Loss Prevention for the following situations: this sector in the industry is essentially characterized for the non continuity of works and the exposition to the otoagressive agents isn’t continuous in all of the phases of the project. This way, the worker goes through several works, having the possibility to be denied to him the proper management concerning his hearing. In Brazil, there are a few reports as for the existence of PPPAs in industries of this sector.
