Introduction
Correlation between job stress and cardiovascular disease have been verified by several studies. but, some studies
has still reported a controversal results. some demonstrate that it is a problem in measuring method, evaluating
the job stress occurring through the life based on a point in time only.

Methods
This study was conducted on 248 male workers in a shipyard, 37 years and older. In 2009 and 2010, repeatedly measured job stress by the Korean Occupational Stress Scale, and tested them by Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) and Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV), a early indicators of atherosclerosis. The data of 2009 and 2010 were categorized into high and low groups. next, 8 subgroups and total stress points were divided into a high group (consecutively in 2009 and 2010) and the other group. To find the relationship between job stress and arteriosclerosis, PWV and ABI were put as dependent variables while job stress and risk factors of cardiovascular disease were inserted as independent variables in conducting multiple regression analysis.

Results
The number of high job stress group was 126(50.8%) in 2009 and 2010. The high overall job stress number
for both in 2009 and 2010 was 91(36.7%). In multiple regression analyses with the data in 2009. job control, age,
systolic blood pressure was associated with PWV and glucose was associated with ABI. In 2010, age, systolic blood pressure, triglyceride was associated with PWV and job control, Job insecurity, Organizational system was associated with ABI. In 2009 and again in 2010. Job insecurity, age, systolic blood pressure, triglyceride was associated with PWV and glucose level was associated with ABI.

Discussion
This study showed that in measuring job stress only once, it is unlikely we can accurately evaluate job stress.
then, It is necessary that follow-up studies to evaluate chronic job stress or changes in job stress
