Occupational disease is being recognized as not needed in Colombia and in developing countries.  Ethical, technical and legal aspects are analyzed to establish the duties and responsibilities of the occupational medicine and related government organizations and entities. Concludes that the item requires high commitment of professionals and a rigorous attitude of the State to the labor force in each country.
