Abstract: The development of Anthropometric tables , followed up by process pictures or machinery with specific design measures comparing between the data collected and the actual process gives to the plant managers a clear perception of the problem and the solution to improve them.
Introduction: 91 persons from a total plant population of 476 (51 males and 40 females) was measured to develop the anthropometric data of 53 different body measures each person. The data was used to perform machinery and process design and also to change the way the manager can see the problem to have a better understanding.
Methods: A specific study of 53 measures anthropometric was performed. 91 persons (51 males and 40 females) from a total population of 476 was measured to develop a better design for ergonomics.
Results: An anthropometric table was performed. Better design for ergonomics. Better understanding by plant manager about the ergonomic problem showed.
Discussion: Is very important to any plant to have the anthropometric data to perform better designs of its machineries and processes to continuous improvement process.
