Telemedicine in the US Military

The broad range of telemedicine application in use around the  globe by the US military; from simple store and forward cell phone based  applications in consultation with medical specialist to full video. The  efforts of the US military, starting with the US Army, have been using these  technologies for many years to extent the service reach of limited medical  services across vast geography and time ranges. These advanced efforts now  have a proven track record and the lessons for civilian use will be  explored.
