Protecting Health

BP and various contractors worked side by side with numerous federal, state and local agencies in an unprecedented response to the Deepwater Horizon Spill.  The risk assessment and risk management approach to protect workers, the environment and the communities will be discussed.  The strategies involved in providing Occupational Medical support and input were dynamic.  On going studies are in place for future health assessments.  Lessons learned from this unique experience will be presented.
