In Petróleos Mexicanos, 80% of the workers have obesity, the average age is 42 years, most workers are male, and as elderly population has major cardiovascular risk factors, more than 12% of workers are diabetic, and have difficulty adhering to drug treatment and are transgressors of the programs to control their nutrition. The model consists of a physical area called "Health Laboratory", manned by doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, trainers and nurses. 30.514 workers were integrally evaluated in 2010 and 32.542 in 2011 of their vital signs, somatometry, nutritional aspects, fitness, motivational levels and chemical tests. Together, health workers and the worker, set achievable goals and actions identifying healthy eating, good practices for individualized physical activity , stress and / or anxiety management, abandonment of tobacco and alcohol.  A comparison of the results obtained in 2010 and 2011 showed the following data:  It was found that 81.1% of participants were overweight or obese in 2010 and 78.8% for 2011, that is to say, it was obtained a reduction of 2.3%, which corresponds to 5.471 kilos in total per year.  The Metabolic Syndrome occurs in 2010 in 82% of the participants, modified in 2011 to 79%, that is to say, 3% less.  The Relative Risk (RR) for High Blood Pressure was measured in all participants, yielding an RR of 3.95 for 2010 and for 2011, fell to 1.98.  In the case of Diabetes Type 2, the RR in 2010 was 3.89 and for 2011 was reduced to 1.79, which equates to a risk reduction of 2.11.  For men, body weight reduction was up to 4.95% per month; in women was 3.03% per month.  With this Model we are looking to reduce ordinary diseases and absenteeism and reduce workplace accidents possibly related to overweight and obesity.
