Introduction
In the last years, the Investigation Area of CIATEC has developed Labor Risk Atlas projects in various Mexican Petroleum facilities. These projects show the degree of risk of each installation based on the evaluated factors under the application of NOM and effective regulations in matter of security and labor health. The labor risk maps are an essential part of these projects, since its correct interpretation from workers, warns them of the risks in their work area.

Methods
The main objective of this study was to model the obtained results of the Labor Risk Atlas for any installation, through the use of an accessible symbology in a way that is comprehensible for all the users. Physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psycho-social factors were evaluated in diverse Mexican Petroleum facilities, based on the maximum limits allowed described in diverse norms, laws, regulations and methodologies. The results were displayed in health risk maps, which were created using the recommendations of the use of symbology use from NOM-026-STPS-1998.

Results
The results of each factor were categorized through the use of an easy identification icon based on the geometry described in the NOM-026-STPS-1998 and under a red, yellow and green labeling (high, medium and low risk respectively). These visual representations allow the user to quickly and easily identify the risks present in their work area. Icons of necessary PPE were also included according to the results of the evaluation.

Discussion
Icons and labels representing hazards and conditions that affect the health of employees can be effective indicators of the level of risk in the workplace The labor risk maps are a descriptive element that can be used as a preventive measure to reduce damages and protect worker health.
